Lesson Criteria:

DUCKLINGS 2.5yr upwards – absolute beginners (Stage 1)
Introduction of basic pulling and kicking techniques, push and glides as well as work on front and back floatation and water confidence skills whilst maintaining an emphasis on safety and fun.
Ducklings work towards our stage 1 certificate
Instructor is in the water.

SEALS (5 metres front and/or back) (Stage 2)
Gentle transition from swimming with aids to swimming on own. Continuing water safety importance through fun. Breaststroke introduction.
Seals work towards our stage 2 certificate
Instructor is in the water.

ADVANCED SEALS (10 metres front and back) (Stage 3)
Continuing to develop all aspects water safety and stroke technique of all strokes.
Advanced Seals work towards our stage 3 certificate
Instructor is in the water.

DOLPHINS (20 metres+ Frontcrawl, Backcrawl, Breaststroke) (Stage 4)
Coaching on how to become a stronger swimmer, with effective teaching points on all four strokes. Further emphasis of developing skills in deeper water e.g. t/w, sculling. To improve style, technique, and stamina and introduce more advanced water skills.
Dolphins work towards our stage 4 certificate
Instructor teaches from poolside.

ADVANCED DOLPHINS (50 metres on all four strokes) (Stage 5)
Building on existing knowledge of all strokes and skills Applying knowledge of all four stokes into further distances, and eventually prepare for lane swimming.

Instructor teaches from poolside.

SHARKS (100+ metres, good style on all four stokes) (Stage 6 to 10)
This class is for pupils with a sound knowledge of all the four strokes. Tuition is given on how to improve technique, stamina and efficiency in the water. We help prepare children for distance swimming (1000m+). Skills covered include starts and turns, straddle jumps, somersaults, surface dives, survival tread-watering practices.
Sharks work towards our stage 6 to 10 certificates
Instructor teaches from poolside.

CHILDREN PRIVATE LESSONS:
We provide private lessons for children on a one-to-one, two-to-one or three to one basis.
The lessons will be catered to the specific needs of the pupil. Private lessons cover all abilities.
Private lessons work towards our stages 1 to 10, distance and water skills awards.
Instructor is in/out of the water depending on the child’s current ability.

ADULT PRIVATE LESSONS:
Adult private lessons are available for all abilities, from total beginner to advanced levels. To cater for your specific needs, these lessons operate on a one-to-one, two-to-one or three to one basis.
Instructor is in/out of the water according to your wish.
